What They Need

Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution is required.

Experience: A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in all aspects of Critical Care nursing, complemented by 3–5 years of progressive leadership experience.

Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas (or compact equivalent).

Certifications: Current AHA BLS and ACLS are required; success in a critical care course and CPI certification (within six months) are essential.

Skill Set: Proven ability to develop long-term strategic plans, manage multi-unit budgets, and foster high-trust relationships with physicians and staff.
