A top-performing hospital in the heart of Texas is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to lead its 16-bed, Medical/Mixed ICU unit—serving patients under a closed model with dedicated ICU physicians.
🕐 Schedule: Full-time | Day Shifts | No Weekends
🏥 Department: Medical ICU – Closed model, high-acuity care
🧑⚕️ Team: 25 FTEs | Leadership over hiring, scheduling, and quality metrics
🧾 Bonus: Eligible for relocation assistance
📊 Responsibilities:
Direct clinical and operational leadership
Staff supervision, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution
Quality assurance and continuous process improvement
Daily rounding and collaboration with medical directors
📋 Required Credentials:
RN License – Texas or compact eligible
BSN – from an accredited program (Required)
ACLS and BLS Certifications
2+ years of leadership experience in ICU acute care
💡 Preferred: Committee involvement, payroll oversight, hiring expertise
